A Short History of Fellowship Bible Church...

Organized by six families in 1982 who were seeking to begin a new work in the Harrah-Newalla area, Fellowship Bible Church began meeting in homes until a facility was rented on the SE corner of Harrah Road and SE 29th Street.
Later, a building was purchased and remodeled which is located on Highway 270 (SE 29th St. between McLoud and Harrah). Fellowship Bible Church purchased the building we now occupy at 501 N. Harrah Road and the building on SE 29th Street was later rented to another body of believers who were seeking a building in which to meet. Later, we agreed to sell the building to Sonrise Baptist Church (now, Covenent Fellowship) and used those funds to pay off the note on the structure we had purchased. Fellowship Bible Church has since added onto the original structure. The addition included a new kitchen and a Fellowship Hall as well as more classrooms and storage as a part of our facilities.
Remember though, the Church is not a building made with hands, but a spiritual building of God's own making through Jesus Christ our Lord. You cannot "go" to Church. You may go to the Church's building, but only by your personal confession that Jesus is Lord and then by faith believing that God has raised Him from the dead, can you be a member of the Church. Romans 10:9-10
